Happiness is really the starting point for everything we do. I still remember being asked as a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up. Everyone had big titles in mind - doctor, pilot - but I said I wanted to be a happy man. That simple thought has stayed with me.
Farming, production, and processing are all part of that journey. We don’t let work take over our lives. We do the work, we stay grounded, and we make sure peace and happiness always come first.

Tathagat Barodh
Tathagat is an engineer and a post-graduate from IIT Bombay (Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas). Guided by his long-standing passion, he returned to his village in Madhya Pradesh, where he now practices chemical-free farming.
And he’s a happy farmer too :)
Ranjan Kumar Sinha
Ranjan Kumar Sinha is engaged in the study of Madhyasth Darshan – Sah Astitvavaad (by A. Nagaraj), with a vision that the entire human race can live together with resolution, prosperity, fearlessness, and co-existence. An Electrical Engineering graduate from SGSITS, Indore (1996), he combines a scientific foundation with a deep philosophical pursuit to contribute toward a just and harmonious social order.

Gudda Bhaiya
He is truly the backbone of our farm—an all-rounder in every sense. Always eager to work, he takes on every task with dedication and a positive attitude. No matter the challenge, he finds a solution, making him our go-to person in any situation. Reliable, hardworking, and proactive, his presence brings confidence and stability to the entire team.
Manohar Dada
He is the strength behind all the labor-intensive work on our farm, handling responsibilities tirelessly day and night. He never turns down any duty and approaches every task with a smile. Trustworthy and dependable, he gives his best at all times. His dedication and positive spirit make him truly invaluable to our farm.
Our Family – The Roots Behind the Journey
Every unconventional path needs a strong foundation. Tathagat: a farmer is not just my journey - it is the result of unwavering love, belief, and support from my family and extended farm community.
At the very core of this journey stands my father, Dr. Subhash Barodh, a dedicated doctor and a deeply committed social worker. His tireless service to people and society, disciplined work ethic, and compassion have been a constant source of inspiration and guidance in shaping my values and purpose.
Equally instrumental is my mother, Ms. Vaishali Barodh, a proactive and ever-enthusiastic personality who has always embraced my experiments and ideas with openness and encouragement. Her faith in innovation and willingness to stand by every new beginning has given me the courage to explore unconventional paths.
My strength is further multiplied by my better half, Anamika, who has consistently stood by me, supporting my bold ideas, believing in the vision, and walking alongside me through every challenge and milestone.
And then comes our little angel, our nanha kisan Tatvika. Her boundless curiosity and growing enthusiasm for farming have added a new dimension of joy and purpose to this journey. Her small helping hands and innocent involvement have become one of my strongest motivations to build something meaningful and sustainable.
Finally, this journey would be incomplete without the unwavering support of our extended family and the near and dear ones at the farm. Their trust, hard work, and constant encouragement have played a vital role in nurturing Tathagat: a farmer into what it is today.
Together, they form the roots that allow this vision to grow - grounded, resilient, and deeply connected to the soil.
