How Our Turmeric Is Processed

We carefully harvest turmeric fingers, wash them thoroughly, slice them into thin chips, and then dry them naturally under the sun. This gentle, traditional method preserves turmeric’s natural aroma, essential oils, and curcumin content.

How Commercial Turmeric Differs

Most turmeric available in the market is steamed in industrial boilers at temperatures reaching up to 600°C before drying. This extreme heat strips away its aroma, reduces its curcumin levels, and diminishes its nutritional value.

Why Our Turmeric Is Exceptionally Nutrient-Rich

First, Chemical-free cultivation – We never use DAP, UREA, or any synthetic fertilizers to accelerate growth. Our turmeric bulbs grow at their own natural pace, drawing full strength from the soil.

Second, Harvested at nature’s peak – Turmeric’s nutritional value rises sharply after Makar Sankranti, when sunlight lasts longer. While commercial growers typically harvest in late December or early January-before this crucial period-we wait until the turmeric fully matures.

And third, No Steaming – Instead of steaming at high heat, we slice and shade-dry the turmeric, locking in its curcumin, essential oils, and golden color exactly as nature intended.
